Last I'd heard (sometime last year I think), the NT kernel was still C, most
of the core non-kernel code was unmanaged C++, and a few peripheral apps
that are part of the delivered OS, and a few of the new API libraries were
C#.

I can't find where I read that--I thought it was Larry Osterman's blog, but
I can't seem to find it right now.
