Hello

I am getting confused. It is clear that windows 64 bit does not support an =
equivalent JET driver.

So my 32bit app is not working on 64 windows (vista or windows 7).

Also, if I use C# and Microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0 I get the same problem on win=
dows 7 where it is 64 bit.

I have seen a few things, for example:

http://wiltonsoftware.com/posts/view/run-32-bit-jet-dao-application-on-64-b=
it-windows

But I am still not sure of the best resolution.

On a slightly different note i was hoping to use c# as i understtod it to b=
e cross platform but now i find the ado.net / jet is not well supported on =
linux or mac.=A0 exactly how is one supposed to support reading mdb files o=
n these platforms with c# and how do i get round the windows64 bit issue?

Thanks.

Andrew
