maybe, the easiest is to check user name - GetUserName/GetUserNameEx? If
you know these people (I assume), you can either hardcode their names, or
put into the same INI or registry... it should be easier (for user) as
popup/password.

MFC Dialogue VS 2005 C++

Hello

I am adding a new feature into my application where the user presses a key
sequence.=A0 This then takes data from the application and updates a
specified INI file.=A0 The user then emails me this INI file.

Only certain individuals are supposed to update and email this INI file to
me.=A0 However at the moment the feature will run no matter who presses the
key sequence.

My application is not commercial and not overly complex.=A0 But could anyone
suggest to me a fairly simple technique for restricting this INI update to
certain people?=A0 What I thought of was maybe a popup dialogue, which had a
password edit box and the user would have to type in the correct password.
I don't know if that is the best way though!
